Calligraphy Katrina & Maison du Papier Anniversary Party Vendor Spotlight: Mary Sushinski

For those of you that don’t know – as well as a reminder for those of you that do – I am throwing a late afternoon/early evening garden affair at the gorgeous Pasadena Museum of History on September 12th of this year. Because of this, a majority of my upcoming blog posts will feature the wonderful and talented people that have agreed to help sponsor my event.

For this weeks post, I would like to introduce you to our amazingly awesome and super talented “dream-maker ” a.k.a. party planner, Ms. Mary Sushinski! She is the owner and event director of Occasions – an event planning company located at The Event Studio in Burbank.

Let me just say, this woman knows what she is doing. From the start of things, she was able to get the ball rolling and hasn’t stopped since. She was able to understand my over-the-top vision when I thought that no one would be able to see it. And to top it off, she has so far been able to pull it off as if it were a piece of cake! Even with the curve balls that have been thrown at me that I have passed on to her, she has kept me calm and sane throughout this process when I thought that my emotions would get the best of me. She is truly a one-of-a-kind person when it comes to not only event planning, but as a friend as well. I cannot thank her enough for all the time she has put in and all my silly concerns that she has put up with. (If you are reading this, thank you again Mary! =))
